Aren't hummus and chapatis such wholesome comfort food ? A reminder of travel to different continents that we’re missing so much right now.
Here’s an « au pif» recipe this time, that’s going to happen a lot here! Meaning, in French, approximatively, no research involved, from the gut, intuitively, follow your nose... I simply mix a large can of strained garbanzo beans, and a couple heaping tablespoons each of of ground sesame paste or tahina, sour cream, lemon juice and olive oil, then season (fresh garlic or powder, salt, cayenne pepper).
The chapatis are a bit more complicated, but entirely joyful to make.
